Trump 2.0 may be nothing like Trump 1.0; both he and the world have evolved

President Trump is a bundle of paradoxes. He is both a risk mitigator and instigator. He is the Republican standard bearer but is not a Republican. Nearly every insider in Trump 1.0 described him as ignorant of and uninterested in policy yet, as I described in You say you want a Revolution..., he campaigned for Trump 2.0 on a detailed platform of radical reform of the entire American system of governance and policy. Most ironically, despite being better known, Trump 2.0 may be more uncertain that Trump 1.0 due both to changes in Mr. Trump and his administration and changes in the world around them.
